1/ What if I need to cancel a treatment booking?
24 hours notice is requested of all bookings. We reserve the right to request a 50% deposit upon booking which will be non-refundable if less than 24 hours notice is given.
2/ Is there a minimum age limit?
Yes – clients must be at least 16 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
3/ I’m having a party – what packages are available?
Specially tailored packages are available either at the studio or in the comfort of your own home including massage,facials, manicures, pedicures and other therapies for large groups. A min charge may apply depending upon number of guests and travel distance.
4/ I’m pregnant – does this affect my treatment?
Some treatments are unsuitable especially during the early stages of pregnancy – please see our section on treatments for the Mother to Be to ensure that you get the most out of your visit.
5/ Is there anything I should avoid before a treatment?
Please avoid a heavy meal in the 2 hours before a treatment, alcohol and non-prescription drugs.
6/ I am concerned a medical condition may preclude me from any treatments
A medical questionaire will be undertaken prior to your treatment, however should you have any concerns please highlight these at the time of booking.
7/ Do I need to be fit to Nordic Walk?
No – the beauty of Nordic is that it can be adapted to all fitness levels and classes differ in duration and distance.
8/ Do I need my own poles?
No – poles are provided by the instructor. Should you wish to purchase poles then we can advise you accordingly.
9/ Can I have an eyelash tint today?
All our tints require the client to have a skin patch test 24 hours prior to treatment the first time they visit us. This is required for insurances purposes and serves to protect the client. Skin sensitivities vary over time thus even if you have had tinting before we require to undertake this test.
